At Olympia Fitness + Performance, we combine evidence-based training methods with individualized coaching to deliver lasting results. Our programs are designed to improve strength, speed, and resilience. Young athletes benefit from a structured environment that develops their athleticism and confidence both on and off the field, while adults—such as golfers and other recreational athletes—gain the functional strength, mobility, and stability needed to perform at their best in sport and daily life. Our state of the art Sports Performance and Personal Training gym is conveniently located just off route 95 in Cranston, just outside of Garden City.

Our coaches are Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists with a 4-year degree in an Exercise Science related field or Certified Personal Trainers. They offer years of experience and are guaranteed to help you achieve your goals.

๐ฅ๐๏ธClient Spotlight: Dylan Edwards๐๏ธโ๏ธ๐ฅ We asked Dylan a few questions about his experience training at Olympia: Q- Why did you choose olympia? A- The first reason I chose Olympia was the fact that the training I received was tailored to my personal goals. This was the first time I actually went through the TPI screening process to have a plan based on my own needs. The second reason was the entire staff. Since day one I have always felt supported by everyone and am thankful for everything they’ve done for me. Q- Why do you stay with olympia? A- This one is challenging. Life has provided our family with many wonderful opportunities this year and I wish I wasn’t pushing pause on training with everyone. I’ll answer this by saying why I won’t go anywhere else for my coaching/fitness needs. I felt respected, I felt valued, I felt challenged. It’s easy to be impressed by the infrastructure of the gym when you first enter. I was more impressed by how the entire team (Katie, Lexi Pat, and Mike especially) made the time to help me when I showed up to train. Always made me feel good about myself and eager to keep trying for more. Q-what’s your favorite part? A-Not when Katie and Lexi make me sit deeper into the split squat dumbbell holds. Those weren’t my favorite. I do love how you’re not doing the same workout every day. Keeps it new and exciting and if necessary, you can modify the movement/plan as needed. Q-how has training at olympia impacted your life? A-I feel better physically than I have in years. I do have some old injuries that I’ve had to learn to live with, but I feel better now than I have in a long time. Q-what advice would you give to others like yourself about training? A- Stick with it, be patient and ask for help. When you train at Olympia you’re around a team of professionals who have competed in practically every arena. They’ll help you and give you all the support you need, but it’s critical you speak up so they know how to help you. My weight problems got worse. I was trying to get my insurance to approve Ozempic or Zepbound, but they didn’t. We asked Michelle a few questions about her experience training at Olympia: A: Why did you choose olympia? Q: “I have been at Olympia since inception. 15 years. A friend introduced me because the gym wanted a massage therapist on staff and here I am. I am grateful every day that I get to work and workout in this amazing environment. The staff and my workout buddies are family.” Q: Why do you stay with olympia? A: “Training here has made me a better therapist. Everything I learn in the gym I bring to my clients. Training here has kept me strong and injury free. Massage is physical, repetitive work and the whole body workouts keep me going strong. After working out at Olympia, other workouts and gyms seem silly.” Q: What’s your favorite part? A: “While we have lots of fun, time is not wasted and there is no avoiding body parts you don’t like to work on.” Q: How has training at Olympia affected your life? A: “I’ve also seen how training for balance, mobility and core strength has helped me in my other athletic endeavors. If my ankle rolls while hiking, it returns right back to where it belongs, no discomfort or injury. Same with snowboarding, I am better able to regain my balance and not wipeout! Core strength really makes a difference on my paddle board, windy days are not a problem. ๐จClient of the week!!๐จ Here's what @cullenrealestateandappraisal has to say about her experience so far at Olympia: I arrived at Olympia through a referral, but ultimately once I stepped foot in the gym, I knew that this was the gym for me and where I wanted to train! When I met @ml_performance_training, I was at rock bottom both physically and emotionally. Mike truly understood my situation and showed both care and respect, but most importantly there was no judgement! I looked around and saw people in all walks of life, not just one group in particular. The positive vibe and friendly environment are palpable; my decision was certain, Olympia My favorite part of Olympia is unequivocally the people; both trainers and athletes! Every single one of the trainers are world-class and no one is made to feel less than another. The level of instruction is top-notch and delivered in a way that is always positive and consistent, never off-putting. I am not a morning person, but I do prefer to train in the morning before my days get busy. The mornings that I spend at Olympia are undoubtedly the best few hours of my week and I feel that I’m working out with friends! Training has impacted my life in a positive way beyond my wildest dreams. I never thought I’d return to my former self (circa 2020-2022) and after a few short months, I can see there is light at the end of the tunnel. I will be the best version of myself and I’m already feeling stronger now than I ever have in the past. There’s still a long road for me but this time I won’t stop and this is all because of the positive training experience I’ve had at Olympia. I have learned so much about fitness, nutrition, my own body and I finally feel like I can achieve the goals I want! I am an avid skier and race vintage sports cars, and I wanted to resume those activities as soon as possible. Mike worked with me, and I was able to ski 23 times. I also raced twice, and I have my first race this year on May 2nd. I wanted to supplement my sports skills training with strength and conditioning workouts that would enhance overall performance.” ๐ - Why do you stay with Olympia ๐ - “I stay with Olympia because I have seen true results, most noticeably in vert, speed and even golf swing distance.
